Installing a Software Bundle in Ubuntu


It just happened to me very recently. I downloaded a software bundle. Whilst trying to installed it thereafter, it failed using Ubuntu’s Ubuntu Software Center tool. I fired up a Terminal session and typed in sudo sh filename.bundle. Just make sure that you have your superuser password handy.

Et voila. It installs.
